1st November 2021 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Smallish chop Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 13.9 Weather: Sun and Cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Bit disappointed to start with as took ages to remember where to put my feet, then started to get up up a but but slipping off as not wearing boots as rubbed sore. Eventually sorted positions and got a few short flights. I was heading downwind too much so headed upwind until ready to try flying and didn't bear off as much, also stopped having to walk back upwind. Handy having Rik out as could see best angles. Learnt a bit more how power changes with direction and how to adjust. Got one flight of 50m, and happy with that progress. Wind decreased too much for me after a couple of hours, getting cold and tired anyway. Rik still flying. |
